Hi, my name is David Barousse and my wife and I opened Pristine Dry Cleaners LLC in Louisiana 5 1/2 years ago. Within 7 months we had to stop taking new customers we were so busy. We were in an upscale area so I had to clean every high end garment made (st.john,cavali, gucci, nanette lepore, ed hardy, carlisle, ralph lauren black label,etc). I can even clean garments that say do not dry clean (99% of the time) prom gowns etc. We were experts on saving money on supply bills, I tested almost every product sold and I know what soaps, spotting chems to use to maximize savings and to produce excellent garments. My wife and i did everything from cleaning, pressing and maintenance. I also engineered some equipment in my plant. My wife handled the front and helped me in the back. I handled the back end. We were extremely successful; we sold our business on April 1, 2009 to one of our customers that has been coming to us since we opened. We wanted to open a business to help fellow cleaners with all the problems that come with the cleaning business. We received business of the month after 2 years of being open. We were the authority in dry cleaning, and we received several other awards as well. We can help you in any aspect of the business. Examples: you can email me with pictures of garments you’re afraid of and I can tell you the best way of cleaning and pressing them; How to handle difficult customers (what there really after); proper stain removal; email me pictures of stains before you clean a garment etc. Call anytime 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. mon-fri We have cleaned 60,000 garments in those 5 1/2 years. We only paid out 1 claim .That is the honest to god truth. Yes we have had many problems with garments, and were able to fix them in house. We had an excellent reputation. Through those years we had maybe 2 or 3 unhappy customers (some people are impossible to please). Our service is $25.00 per month, you can cancel at any time, checks or money orders only (we do not have a credit card machine anymore). Upon arrival of check or money order I will email you or call you to tell you that your account is now open. This $25.00 a month service is only for existing business only, you must provide a tax I.D. number or copy of utility bill for proof with check or money order. If you want to open your own delivery route or plant it is a completely different fee (search consulting fees, it will be 3/4 less than what they charge. They also make money on the equipment you buy, I have connections on equipment. I will make you buy only what is really needed to be successful (I have proven this) and you only pay what it cost. You can pay the equipment company direct. I just know who to call and what you need depending on the kind of plant you want. The purpose of owning your own business is to be successful and if you pay someone $100,000-$300,000 just to help you it’s pretty impossible, not saying you couldn’t be successful, it just takes years to recoup those fees. Plus many people make you buy tons of equipment just to make money on you. Our goal is to maximize profit because that is what we did.
